194 profiled children involved in child labor (CL) or at risk of becoming a CL received hygiene kits containing small towels, slippers, hair comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, body soap and shampoo. The kits were sourced from the “Walk for a Cause”, a fund raising initiative for child laborers conducted by the Field Office during the 2018 Labor Day Celebration.

The gift giving activity in Panitan, Capiz conducted last October 20, 2018 was held at their Civic Center in coordination with the local government thru its PESO Manager, Ms. Carol Diama. Panitan Mayor Generoso D. Deramas Sr. was also present during the event. In addition to the technical and logistical assistance extended by the municipality, the feeding program for the CL was sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Metro Capiz, Inc. whose members are professional women headed by their President, Ms. Joy Moskal.
