PTIPC mediates to open Pag-ibig Branch Office in Antique

The Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-ibig) opened its Branch Office in the Province of Antique on December 19, 2019.

The move to open an extension office in the Province of Antique was initiated by Antique Provincial Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (PTIPC) during its 3rd Quarterly Meeting held at Kanyogan Garden Restaurant, San Jose de Buenavista on September 21, 2018.

During the Council’s meeting, Resolution No. 1 Series of 2018 was passed requesting Pag-ibig to put up a branch office in the Province of Antique specifically in its capital town, San Jose de Buenavista, where a large number of business establishments are emerging.  The same Resolution was submitted to the Head Office of Pag-ibig through the Regional TIPC.

The presence of Pag-ibig in the province will be favorable and beneficial to its increasing number of workers and employers wherein based on the data of Social Security System (SSS) – Antique Branch, as of 2018, it has 33,317 enrolled members from 1,547 employers.

Employers and workers can now save time and money and will no longer travel to Iloilo City, a 3 hour-ride from San Jose de Buenavista, to transact business particularly for their monthly remittances.

The Pag-ibig Antique Branch Office is located at the 2nd Floor of Robinsons Place Antique, San Jose de Buenavista.

The Provincial Tripartite and Industrial Peace Council (PTIPC) serves as a venue where representatives of employers and workers as well as government agencies meet to discuss relevant issues and concerns significant in maintaining industrial peace.
