What is Project Jobs Fit: The DOLE 2020 Vision?
The Region 6 Social Amelioration Program Database is created by the Department of Labor and Employment in the vision that aims to protect the legal rights of the sugar workers in region 6 by ensuring that they will receive their proper benefits and for the Sugar Planters to be aware of their obligation to their workers. Inspired by Republic Act 6982 and 809, The system stores scanned payrolls submitted by the Sugar Planters and records every sugar worker from the payroll. With the special case of SONEDCO and BISCOM of which both mills covered by the Republic act 809, The planter is required to submit both RA 6982 and 809 payroll, failure to submit both payrolls with workers receiving their proper benefits, the planter will be labeled with a “non-compliance” status.
